We operate with the highest level of ethical standards. As a result, there are times when project opportunities may pose a conflict with current clients or with Tony's employment at WCCO, the CBS owned and operated station in Minneapolis. In such situations, we must decline the opportunity and if requested, recommend another video production service.

The History
Digital Planet Productions is owned and operated by Tony Knoss with the support of his wife of 16 years, Kimberly, and two daughters, Heather and Sara. When projects require the skill or assistance of additional staff, we have a list of reliable and talented broadcast video professionals available to help make your project the best it can be.

Tony has been working with video since the early 1980's when the first home video cameras were commercially available. Getting his video production start in local cable access while attending film school in Minneapolis, Tony soon moved on to work in media and public relations while independently producing his first broadcast television series at the age of twenty-one. In 1992, he went on to independently produce "Visions of Sound" for KARE. The next opportunity for Tony was to work for James Cargill II in starting Cargill Communications; building a world class radio production facility and operating a group of five radio stations. Tony then went on to work for one of the top local television stations in the country, WCCO-TV, eventually earning a position as one of three special projects photojournalist and editors on staff. With more than 30 awards and nominations for excellence in television news production over the past 10 years, Tony's work has been seen on CBS, CNN, PBS, Oprah, WCCO & KARE.

As the old investment saying goes, "We like to make our money the old fashioned way... we earn it." We are not afraid of working hard to insure the quality of everything we do is the best it can be. Video production is a business of detailed technical understanding, skill and talent. Equally as important, we also see it as a service oriented business. We take pride in working closely with our clients to make sure, in the end, they always get more than expected.

Payment & Production Policies
When you hire Digital Planet Productions, we abide by the following policies;

• Every project we do must start with a signed contract outlining mutual expectations.
• New clients, first production; 1/3rd plus budgeted expenses before production starts, 1/3rd last day of production and the balance paid before final delivery.
• Existing clients; budgeted expenses in advance, 1/2 last day of production and 1/2 before final delivery
• For Broadcast level productions; raw video with time code burn can be made available upon request for an additional cost.
• For productions with editing; We will make a low resolution final edit with time code burn available for download from our secure client website
